The transportable moisture limit flow table test is a method to determine the amount of cargo that is safe for transportation.
The sample is placed in a mold and tamped to replicate the amount of pressure during transportation. The mold is then removed and the tamped material is subjected to physical forces to determine the deformation.
The TML flow talbe test machine is operated with a control panel that has all required parameters available for the test. Options such as operation time, drop amount and rpm can be adjusted

TML Flow Table working principle
A flow table test machine is a device used to determine the flow characteristics of cementitious materials, such as concrete or mortar.
It is commonly employed in construction and civil engineering laboratories to assess the workability and consistency of fresh concrete mixtures.
The flow table test machine consists of a sturdy table mounted on a stable base.
The table is made of steel or other durable materials and is designed to support the concrete sample during the test.
A circular or square flow mold is placed on top of the table. The flow mold is open at the bottom and has a smooth inner surface to allow for the smooth flow of the concrete mixture.
The flow table is equipped with a lifting mechanism, that allows controlled lifting and free-fall of the flow mold.
This mechanism ensures consistent and repeatable testing conditions. A graduated scale is attached to the lifting mechanism or the base of the flow table. This scale is used to measure the distance traveled by the concrete mixture after it is released from the flow mold.
A fresh concrete or mortar sample is prepared according to specific standards or project requirements. The sample is placed into the flow mold on the table, ensuring it is properly compacted and leveled.
The test begins by lifting the flow mold and allowing it to fall freely onto the table. The concrete mixture spreads and flows outward due to the impact and force of the fall. The flow distance, indicated by the graduated scale, is measured to determine the flowability and consistency of the mixture. Multiple tests can be performed on different samples to ensure the accuracy and repeatability of the flow measurements. The average flow value from multiple tests is often used as an indicator of the workability and quality of the concrete mixture.
Flow table tests provide valuable information about the flow characteristics and workability of concrete. The results of these tests help engineers and technicians assess the suitability of the mixture for specific applications and ensure that it meets the required standards and specifications.

Our TML Flow Table Test Machine features a built-in program specifically designed for the Transportable Moisture Limit (TML) test. This test determines the moisture content at which bulk materials, such as mineral concentrates and ores, may become unstable and pose a liquefaction risk during transport. The machine includes adjustable settings such as a timer, rotation speed (RPM), number of drops, as well as safety features and warnings to ensure precise and reliable testing.
