Sampling installation with crusher and lifting device
This custom LAARMANN sampling installation automates the preparation of heavy ferrochrome and other hard, brittle sample materials. A lifting device feeds the material into the LMFC250 Fine Crusher, after which the crushed sample is transferred to the Rotary Sample Divider 30–60L for representative sample division.
The result is a safer and more efficient workflow. Operators no longer need to manually lift heavy material or perform multiple handling steps, which helps improve consistency, increase throughput and support higher sample quality.
How the installation works
Heavy sample material is lifted into the crusher by an integrated lifting device. The LMFC250 Fine Crusher is suitable for hard and brittle materials such as ferrochrome and tungsten carbide and can reduce material to a fine, manageable size for the next process step. The crushed sample is then transported to the Rotary Sample Divider 30–60L, where it is divided into representative sub-samples using custom bucket options matched to the application.
