Automated Sampling Unit with Crusher and Samplers

This custom LAARMANN sampling unit combines crushing, representative sampling and sample division in one integrated workflow. The sample is transported by an optional vibratory feeder into the LMFC250 Fine Crusher, where the material is reduced to a suitable particle size for downstream handling.

After crushing, the material is transferred into the Vezin Sampler for representative inline sampling. Depending on the application, the sampled material is then divided with the Rotary Sample Divider 30–60L or transported directly into a barrel.

This integrated configuration helps reduce manual handling, improve repeatability and support more reliable sample preparation. By combining a fine crusher, an inline sampler and a rotary divider in one unit, LAARMANN can deliver a compact sampling solution tailored to the customer’s process and material characteristics.

How the unit works

The sampling unit operates as one continuous process. First, the sample is transported at a controlled rate by an optional vibratory feeder into the LMFC250 Fine Crusher, where the material is reduced to a suitable particle size for further handling. After crushing, the material stream is transferred into the Vezin Sampler, which takes a representative sample from the flow. Depending on the required process configuration, the sampled material is then divided into representative portions with the Rotary Sample Divider 30–60L or discharged directly into a barrel. This integrated setup supports efficient, repeatable and representative sample preparation with less manual handling.
