Big bag sampling screener with weighing option
This custom LAARMANN installation is designed for big bag sampling applications where controlled feeding, size reduction, screening and weighing need to be combined in one integrated workflow. The system is configured with an LMC500 Jaw Crusher and a vibratory feeder, creating a practical solution for bulk material sampling and sample preparation.
The vibratory feeder provides a controlled material flow into the crushing stage, helping the installation operate more consistently and reducing manual handling. With the LMC500 Jaw Crusher integrated into the process, the system can process larger bulk material inputs before further screening or downstream sample handling.
This concept is part of LAARMANN’s broader big bag installation approach, where representative high-volume bulk sampling is a key requirement. By combining feeding, crushing and a weighing option in one setup, the installation can support more repeatable processing and better control of material flow.
How it works
The installation operates as an integrated big bag sampling and preparation process. Material from the big bag is fed into the system and transferred by a vibratory feeder at a controlled rate toward the LMC500 Jaw Crusher. After crushing, the material can be handled in a more consistent way for screening and weighing within the installation. This type of configuration is intended to support controlled bulk material handling, improved sample preparation and more repeatable process operation.
