Pilot plant for waste material
This custom LAARMANN pilot plant is designed for waste material applications where the material needs to be routed through different preparation stages in a controlled way. The installation combines feed handling, optional grinding and sample collection in one flexible pilot-scale setup.
The waste material enters the system through a hopper and passes to a flexible connection. From there, the material can be directed either to the LMBM Ball Mill for grinding or to the Rotary Sample Divider for representative sample collection, depending on the required process route.
This configuration makes the installation suitable for pilot-scale testing and sample preparation, where flexibility is important. By combining a grinding option with direct sample division, the system can support both material reduction and representative collection in one compact process concept.
How it works
The pilot plant operates as a flexible waste material handling and preparation system. Material is first fed into the hopper and transferred to a flexible connection, where the process route can be selected. If grinding is required, the material is sent to the LMBM Ball Mill for further size reduction. If direct sample collection is required, the material is routed to the Rotary Sample Divider, where buckets collect representative portions of the feed. This setup allows the pilot plant to support both grinding and sample division within one integrated installation.
